In this episode of Elangovan explains he talks Insides of DMK & ADMK parties, DMK MLA Duraimurugan and DMK parliamentary leader TR Balu were elected as the party's General Secretary and Treasurer respectively on Thursday. Earlier, Duraimurugan resigned his post as the treasurer of the party and filed to contest as the General Secretary, which was vacant since the death of K Anbazhagan. Likewise, TR Balu filed to contest as the Treasurer. Both were elected unopposed.
Before the party discussed DMK youth wing secretary Udhayanidhi Stalin stand in Thousand lights constituency but for a certain reason, he might have stand-in Saidapet constituency.
The counsel for VK Sasikala, who was late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa’s close aide, has over the last two months made optimistic statements about her early release. The latest timeline to come from her advocate Raja Senthura Pandian is a possible release at the end of September or early October after subtracting days for good behavior from her sentence. However, speaking to TNM, sources in the AIADMK who are in contact with both the Karnataka prison police and the BJP, say that a release before December is near impossible.
