I have set my King in Zion
Upon My holy hill

Why do the nations conspire?
The people plot in vain
Kings and rulers take counsel
Against the Lord and His Christ
Let us break their bonds asunder
And cast their cords away

He who sits in the heavens
The Lord laughs them to scorn
Then He’ll speak in His fury
And frighten them with His wrath
I have set My King in Zion
Upon on My holy hill

Hear the Lord’s decree of Me
He said, “You are My Son,
You, this day I’ve begotten
Now ask of me, and I’ll give
All the nations You’ll inherit
To rule with a rod of iron

O kings, show wisdom and listen
You rulers all be warned
Serve the Lord now with trembling
With rev’rence honor the Son
For His wrath may soon be kindled
The bless’d take refuge in Him
