Pakistan’s prime minister Imran Khan, has faced criticism at home and abroad after he labelled former Al Qaeda Chief Osama bin Laden a ‘martyr’ who was ‘killed by the Americans’. Khan made this statement in his country’s Parliament. But he faced immediate criticism from opposition parties, journalists as well as international security experts who called his statement undermining the attempt to end the reign of terror groups in Pakistan and its neighbourhood.
