The sun is out, shining on us and the weather is getting hotter. Spring is officially here! In India, with Spring comes an array of beautiful festivals that hold immense significance. One such festival is Gudi Padwa. It marks the beginning of the New Year for Marathi & Konkani Hindus. Gudi Padwa is observed on the first day of Chaitra month and marks the first day in the lunisolar Hindu calendar. This year Gudi Padwa will be celebrated on March 25.
