Bengaluru: Women Tied to Pole, Thrashed by Villagers for Not Returning Loan

In a shocking case, a woman was tied to a poll and assaulted by villagers of Kodigehalli area in Bengaluru for not returning a loan of Rs 12 lakhs. Reportedly the woman has been identified as Rajamma. She took a loan from villagers to start a hotel but did not return the loan. She allegedly suffered losses and fled from the village. The villagers recently traced her from Dharmasthala and brought her to Kodigehalli where she was tied to a poll and assaulted. A case has been registered and 7 arrests have been made.
