U.S. tops 10 million COVID-19 infections

The United States has become the first country in the world to surpass 10 million COVID-19 infections, accounting for roughly a fifth of global cases.
Data from Johns Hopkins University revealed the country passed the number on Monday.
The country has also reported a million cases in the past 10 days,... the highest rate of infections since the first case was reported earlier this year.
Its most recent 7-day average surpassed 100-thousand daily cases.
That's up 29-percent on week.
So far more than 237-thousand Americans have also died from the virus.
