India, China agree to disengage at the LAC

As a measure to ease tensions and find a breakthrough to end the six-month deadlock, government sources said there is a proposal to ensure a phased de-escalation of Indian and Chinese troops from ‘Finger’ area on the northern bank of the Pangong Lake.
