5 min AT HOME Gymnastics Core Workout || Emma's Adult Gymnastics Journey Ep. 5 || SUPER CHALLENGING!
I've learned a lot of core exercises from different gymnasts over the last month and a half so I combined them into the ULTIMATE AB WORKOUT lol. Seriously tho, it's really hard! For that reason I also made an easier version of the workout. I'll link the timestamps for the beginning of both versions in the comments.
If you try the harder version you'll see that I die in the middle I can't complete it without breaks, so on the parts I crapped out on I added an extra clip of what the exercise should look like. Not sure how common it is for someone to upload a workout video where they themselves can't complete the workout.... i may be the first No shame tho, it's a great ab circuit so i wanted to share :)
If you feel like the exercises switch too fast because there’s no breaks, try it a second time tomorrow or the next day. You’ll be faster on the transitions and you’ll really feel the difficulty of the workout.
Lastly, you don't need any equipment to do either version but I do suggest doing it on a rug because the superman roll overs on hardwood is kinda rough. Also, for the slider tucks I cut out some cardboard from an old amazon box and that worked really well (at home workout pro tip hehe)
*WORKOUT* Do each exercise for 30 seconds, no breaks. Try and be quick with the transitions.
HARDER VERSION:
Hollow body rocks
Arched rocks
Superman roll overs to hollow body hold
Windshield wipers
Around the worlds clockwise
Around the worlds counter clockwise
V ups
Slider tucks
Lift and twist, try and keep your body off the ground for the entire 30 seconds
Hollow body plank
EASIER VERSION:
Hollow tucked rocks
Assisted arched lifts
Superman roll overs to hollow tuck
Windshield wipers, legs bent
Around the worlds clockwise, legs bent
Around the worlds counter clockwise, legs bent
Hollow tucks
One legged slider tucks
Lift and hold 10 seconds at a time
Hollow body plank, knees down
