The Department of Telecommunications has announced a new rule for people using landline phones since the new year. Under this rule, if you will call a mobile number from a landline number, then you must also dial zero before dialing the number. The Department of Telecommunications has decided to implement the new rule, accepting the recommendations of the Telecom Regulatory Authority. From 15 January this rule will come into force throughout the country.

नए साल से लैंडलाइन फोन का इस्तेमाल करने वाले लोगों के लिए दूरसंचार विभाग ने एक नए नियम की घोषणा की है। इस नियम के तहत अगर आप लैंडलाइन नंबर से मोबाइल नंबर पर कॉल करेंगे तो आपको नंबर डायल करने से पहले जीरो को भी डायल करना जरूरी होगा। दूरसंचार विभाग ने टेलीकॉम रेग्युलेटरी अथॉरिटी की सिफारिशें को स्वीकार करते हुए नया नियम लागू करने का फैसला किया है। 15 जनवरी से यह नियम पूरे देश में लागू हो जाएगा।
