Lungisa to be released on parole

Its an early Christmas for Nelson Mandela Municipality Councillor, Andile Lungisa. Lungisa is expected to be released from prison and placed on parole on Tuesday. This after just 2 months of serving his three year sentence. Lungisa was found guilty of assaulting a DA councillor with a glass jug in 2016. The department of Correctional Services says Lungisa served his minimum required time and attended rehabilitation programmes. Courtesy #DStv403
