Freezing weather conditions on Thursday compounded the winter woes in the Kashmir Valley, where scores of areas remain cut off due to snow accumulation. Meanwhile, a plane had a narrow escape on the Srinagar airport highway after it hit a snow mound.

पहाड़ों पर हाड़ कंपाने वाली ठंड जारी है। श्रीनगर से भी कंपकंपा देने वाली खबर आ रही है. आज श्रीनगर में पारा गोता लगाकर माइनस 8.4 डिग्री पर पहुंच गया है. श्रीनगर की मशहूर डल झील जमकर बर्फ बन गई. शहर में बीती रात न्यूनतम तापमान ने 30 सालों का रिकॉर्ड तोड़ दिया है.
