Part 1 of 2 of the Will Hay classic The Ghost of St Michael's (1941), from an old video recording (complete with adverts) from 1993. The plot sees science teacher William Lamb (Hay) go to teach at St Michael's school, which has been transfered during the war to Dunbain Castle in Scotland, where it is rumoured to be haunted by a ghostly curse. Apparently whenever the bagpipes are heard in the school, it is a sign of approaching death. And when the pipes are heard one night, a death does occur at the school...
