So far, 11 rounds of negotiations have been held between the government and the farmers on the issue of agricultural law, but all are fruitless. After the meeting, Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar said that nothing can be better than the proposal that has been given to the farmers not to implement the laws at present by the government.

कृषि कानून के मसले पर सरकार और किसानों के बीच अबतक 11 दौर की बातचीत हो चुकी है, लेकिन सभी बेनतीजा रही हैं. बैठक के बाद कृषि मंत्री नरेंद्र सिंह तोमर ने कहा कि सरकार की ओर कानूनों को फिलहाल लागू नहीं करने का जो प्रस्ताव किसानों को दिया गया है, उससे बेहतर कुछ और नहीं हो सकता है.
