A dozen protest in Myanmar, residents bang pots and pans at night

A dozen students and activists with black flags and English-language banners reading “people’s protest against military coup!” voice their anger in the Myanmar city of Mandalay after Monday’s seizure of power. Last night, Yangon residents also protest against the coup by banging cookware, singing revolutionary songs and waving NLD flags, the party of Myanmar's ex-leader Aung San Suu Kyi who remains under arrest.
