Hyundai’s New Horizons robotics studio has revealed a new walking and flying vehicle concept vehicle. It's called the, "Transforming Intelligent Ground Excursion Robot Experiment" -- TIGER X-1, for short. The concept, features four legs that can be stretched, and extended, with wheels on the end of each leg. The Tiger X-1, is designed for use in extreme and remote environments, on earth and potentially even on the moon or other planets in the future. it's modular design allows the vehicle to be attached to a propellor driven section that can airlift the car from one location to another. Hyundai sees a variety of uses, from taking supplies to remote locations, to providing support for first responders in emergencies. it is a compact vehicle rigth now, but Hyundai says it could scale the vehicle up in the future.
