Occurred on December 16, 2019 / Torres del Paine, Chile
Info from Licensor: "In late 2019 we witnessed a baby guanaco being born in Torres del Patine National park in Chile, and we stuck around until it took its first steps! Related to the llama and alpaca, guanacos live throughout South America. It took many false starts for the newborn to get its footing, but this little baby was standing less than 40 minutes from the time it exited the womb! Watching the baby tumble was difficult, but what a huge success when it finally stood on its own 4 legs!"
