Vaal Dam sluice gates opened

The very swollen Vaal Dam has been let loose. Its sluice gates have been opened because it had exceeded capacity. Authorities say the decision was not taken lightly, and low-lying areas around the dam are being monitored for damage. eNCA’s Tshegohaco Moagi reports. Courtesy #DStv403
