World-renowned cellist Yo-Yo Ma got his second shot of the COVID-19 vaccine Saturday — and turned the Massachusetts vaccination site into a concert hall.
Instead of sitting quietly during the 15-minute post-jab monitoring period, Ma played a brief concert as he waited at Berkshire Community College in Pittsfield.
The 65-year-old musician can be seen in videos sitting in the waiting area — masked and socially distanced — gracefully playing his cello while his audience looks in awe.
At the end of his performance, onlookers applaud, and Ma who thanks them by waving, video shows.
