Opposition to privatization has now intensified. Millions of employees of public sector banks were on strike against privatization of banks on Monday and Tuesday. After the strike of the banks, now the employees of Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) are on strike. LIC employees are opposing disinvestment. The All India Insurance Employees Association (AIIEA) said that they have called for a strike with other trade unions in the industry against the three proposals of the central government as they were not in the interest of the insurance industry, the country's economy and the people.

निजीकरण का विरोध अब तेज हो गया है. बैंकों के निजीकरण के खिलाफ सोमवार और मंगलवार को सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र के बैंक के लाखों कर्मचारी हड़ताल पर थे. बैंकों की हड़ताल के बाद अब आज लाइफ इंश्योरेंस कॉर्पोरेशन (LIC) के कर्मचारी हड़ताल पर हैं. एलआईसी के कर्मचारी विनिवेश का विरोध कर रहे हैं. ऑल इंडिया इंश्योरेंस एम्पलाइज एसोसिएशन (एआईआईईए) ने कहा कि उन्होंने केंद्र सरकार के तीन प्रस्ताव के खिलाफ उद्योग में अन्य ट्रेड यूनियनों के साथ हड़ताल का आह्वान किया है क्योंकि वे बीमा उद्योग, देश की अर्थव्यवस्था और लोगों के हित में नहीं थे।
