Department of Tourism Secretary Berna Romulo-Puyat names Intramuros as an "underrated" destination in Metro Manila.
The tourism secretary had a virtual chat with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) and other Summit Media websites on March 12, 2021.
She was happy to report that Intramuros was hailed as the "World's Leading Tourist Attraction" at the World Travel Awards in 2020.
It was a pleasant delight for the department, especially since their efforts had been focused on resurrecting local tourism after the nationwide lockdown.
