पश्चिम बंगाल विधानसभा चुनाव में मुख्यमंत्री ममता बनर्जी को मात देने के लिए भारतीय जनता पार्टी ने अपनी पूरी ताकत झोंक दी है. गुरुवार को बीजेपी ने चुनाव के लिए 148 उम्मीदवारों की सूची जारी की. लेकिन इस लिस्ट में दो उम्मीदवार ऐसे है जिन्होंने चुनाव लड़ने से इनकार कर दिया है. बीजेपी ने कांग्रेस के पूर्व नेता दिवंगत सोमेन मित्रा की पत्नी शिखा मित्रा को उम्मीदवार बनाया है. शिखा मित्रा के अलावा बेलगछिया सीट के लिए घोषित उम्मीदवार तरुण साहा ने भी ये कहते हुए चुनाव लड़ने से इनकार कर दिया कि उन्होंने बीजेपी को पहले ही सूचित कर दिया था
