the first story is the Tale of Peter Rabbit. freely adapted from Beatrix Potter's classic children's story, Peter Rabbit has been warned by his mother not to go into Mr. Mcgregor's Garden but he disobeys and learns how wise Mother is when he survives a classic encounter with the cranky Mr. Mcgregor.
the second story is Polly's Pet. told by the title character with his voice similar to comedic legend Jonathan Winters who is tired of the insults heaped upon him by his well-meaning masters, Polly's Pet runs away from home. much to his surprise, he finds that unless it is shared. and that home is really where the heart is.
the third and last story is the Little Red Hen. the Dog, the Cat, and the Rat invent excuses to avoid helping the Little Red Hen and her little chicks grow a crop of wheat. but they of this old tale: Those who not work will not eat!
