उत्तर प्रदेश पुलिस को अवैध हथियारों के मामले में बड़ी कामयाबी हासिल हुई है. यूपी पुलिस की स्पेशल टास्क फोर्स ने मेरठ में अवैध हथियार बनाने वाली एक फैक्ट्री का भंडाफोड़ किया है. एसटीएफ ने इसके लिए छापेमारी की थी. इस दौरान पुलिस को मौके से हथियारों का जखीरा बरामद हुआ है
