58 years since Kenya gained independence, the country is on its way to get the first woman chief justice. Despite paving the way, more women still shy away from leadership positions which experts say might take 150 years to achieve gender parity. In an event to celebrate lady justice Martha Koome's nomination for the position of the chief justice, women leaders have called upon Kenyan women to occupy the seats on the table to help address their issues.
