00:00 Hi, this is Umbrella Cockatoo Smudge, a very, very clever bird, and my name is Mark Steiger.
00:12 We want to show you a quite difficult trick. Smudge should open two different doors with
00:18 several locks. I explain to you, I start with the second door. The second door is this one
00:26 here. Don't touch my chain. It's this one here with a key, you see. This door is closed
00:35 with a key. And you can open it as a normal door. Okay, so we close it now, and we put
00:45 the key here anywhere. The parrot should choose the correct key after. Okay, this is the second
00:51 door, and now the first door, which is also very complicated because it's with different
00:57 locks. The first lock here is a switch lock. The second is a sliding bolt. Here, not to
01:09 open the sliding bolt, you put in this bolt with a screw, and we block the screw with
01:18 this bolt here. So, if you don't take off the first bolt, the second bolt, and so, you
01:26 cannot open, you see, because even the switching lock here, the switch lock, is not possible
01:31 to open without opening first the other ones. Okay, this is security lock, we close it also.
01:38 Are you ready, Smudge? Yes. Okay. Yes, Smudge, please. Okay. Start. Okay, Smudge. Thank you.
01:53 Sliding bolt. Put it in my hand, please. Thank you. Sliding bolt. Switch lock. Security lock.
02:16 And you can open the door. Okay, and now the second door, Smudge, with the key. Please
02:22 choose the correct key. If you open the door, I give you after a nice drink here, but first
02:31 choose the correct key, please, Smudge. This is the correct key. He's right. Okay. Into
02:43 the hole, turn around the key, and open, please. I think it's open. No, it's not open. Yes,
02:52 okay. Good, Smudge. So, pick up your drink. Cheers. Well done. You're a very clever bird.
03:03 Thank you, Smudge. Thank you. Get your drink now, Smudge. I hope you appreciate. Thank
03:09 you very much, ladies and gentlemen. Thank you.
