Matt Dixon is a Financial Advisor for TruNorth Advisors based in Greenville, South Carolina. He is nationally recognized for his tax-free retirement income strategy and has spent the past eight years dedicating his professional life to financial services. Additionally, Matt has spent the past three years as a public educator, creating programs to help the public in their financial needs. He is a featured radio host on the WGTK radio station and makes guest appearances on local news stations in the Upstate.
Matt Dixon is a tireless worker who spent several years perfecting his profession. He attended Utah State University to get his bachelor’s degree in Finance before spending several years earning experience and learning from those who came before him in his field. In 2017, Matt earned his Registered Financial Consultant designation, making him a proud part of the International Association of Registered Financial Consultants, or IARFC. He refers to retirement as “the new unemployment” and encourages those who are approaching retirement age to plan carefully beforehand. He believes that future retirees should have a plan established well before they reach retirement in order to lead a peaceful, stress-free life once they hit that stage in their lives.
Both outside of and within his financial career, Matt Dixon wishes to, first and foremost, help those around him with the work that he does. Within his career, he does what he can to help clients reach a strategy that’s right for them before they reach retirement. Outside of his career, Matt focuses on giving back to his community through his actions.
