Huma Qureshi working to build a temporary hospital facility in Delhi
Huma Qureshi has joined hands with Save the Children - a global child rights organisation to help Delhi fight the second wave of the pandemic.
Huma took to social media to inform about her new initiative by posting a video about the same. Alongside the video, she wrote,
"‘Breath of Life’An initiative that @Savethechildren_india and I have taken up, to help breathe life back into Delhi.
In these trying times, it’s our duty to help in any way we can; to help bridge the gap caused by income inequalities.
We are working to build a temporary hospital facility in Delhi, that will have a 100 beds along with an oxygen plant attached to it. The project also aims to provide medical kits to patients for treatment at home, that will include consultation with a doctor & psycho social therapist to ensure that the patient make a full recovery.
It makes me so proud to see so many organisations and individuals stepping up, rising to the occasion and helping out!..."

Many Bollywood celebrities like Priyanka Chopra, Anushka Sharma, Amitabh Bachchan, Sonu Sood, Varun Dhawan, Akshay Kumar, and others have come forward to contribute in order to help people affected by the COVID-19 pandemic in India.
On the work front, Huma Qureshi will be soon making her Hollywood debut with the upcoming Zack Snyder's thriller film 'Army of the Dead'. Apart from that, she also has Akshay Kumar starrer 'Bell Bottom' waiting for release.
