At least six people died and nine were injured in Maharashtra on Monday as Cyclone Tauktae intensified into an extremely severe cyclonic storm. As a result of Cyclone Tauktae, trees uprooted and streets were waterlogged in different parts of Mumbai. The city experienced heavy rainfall and strong winds through the day.
