7,289 new cases: Prepare for the worst, says Health DG

Covid-19 cases in Malaysia breached the seven thousand mark for the first time today with the Health Ministry reporting 7,289 new Covid-19 cases.

The Klang Valley alone saw over 3,000 cases, with Selangor maintaining its position as the state with the highest number of infections with 2,642 cases.

Meanwhile, Johor reported 664 cases, followed by Kuala Lumpur with 604 cases.
