Victoria set to reassess vaccine eligibility

Australia’s Chief Medical Officer Paul Kelly says authorities will review advice for age restrictions on the AstraZeneca vaccine next week. The jab is currently only recommended for people over the age of 50, due to a rare but serious risk of blood clots. Professor Jodie McVernon from the Doherty Institute spoke to ABC’s Patricia Karvelas, about the likelihood that the criteria around the vaccine will change.
