Several samples from Telangana have been found to contain the B.1.525 variant of SARS-CoV-2. This variant was found in the United Kingdom in February this year. Its wires have been connecting to Nigeria, where people going to it got infected. Patients infected with B.1.525 variants have been found in many countries including Australia, Denmark, America.
