Charlie O'Donnell was ill during this taping so Jeopardy announcer Johnny Gilbert filled in. Charlie passed the morning of this broadcast; as the Monday and in some cases Tuesday episodes were already fed to stations, the decision was made to edit a tribute into the Friday show.
