Smart City Award: Indore and Surat top, Uttar Pradesh won the states. UP has made a big difference by taking initiative to build a new smart city along with the existing smart city. It has reached the top in the state list of smart cities. At the same time, Indore city of Madhya Pradesh and Surat city of Gujarat have been jointly awarded with Smart City Award for environment, social attitude, administration, culture, cleanliness, best supply of water and good infrastructure.

यूपी ने मौजूदा Smart City के साथ-साथ नई Smart City बनाने की दिशा में पहल करके बड़ी बाजी मारी है. वो Smart City की स्टेट लिस्ट में टॉप पर पहुंच गया है. वहीं, पर्यावरण, सामाजिक नजरिया, प्रशासन, कल्चर, साफ-सफाई, पानी की बेहतरीन सप्लाई और अच्छे इन्फ्रास्ट्रक्चर के लिहाज से मध्य प्रदेश का शहर इंदौर और गुजरात का शहर सूरत संयुक्त रूप से Smart City अवार्ड से नवाजे गए हैं.
