IMD issues red alert in Maharashtra after incessant rains

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Monday has issued a red alert in Maharashtra and Goa after the incessant rains in its areas. While an orange alert has been issued for Rajasthan and Jammu and Kashmir, and a yellow alert for Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Uttar Pradesh for Tuesday. The weather department has also issued a red alert for Konkan and an orange alert warning for Gujarat, parts of Karnataka, Maharashtra, and Assam. Watch this video for detailed information.
