PM proposing changes to Federal Govt lockdown support

The Prime Minister will propose changes to how much support the government will hand out when areas enter lockdown at National Cabinet tomorrow. Under the plan, up to 600 dollars will be provided to people who lose their income once they've been locked down for a week and there will be no asset test. Support for business will be offered after a lockdown has lasted a fortnight - shorter than the current four week wait.
