PSV Eindhoven got their campaign off to a flyer with a 2-0 away victory at Heracles Alemo.
A new look side with younger stars Bruma and Noni Madeuke taking centre stage, showed they are able to bring through stars even when they are forced to sell.
Bruma scored from a one-on-one in the 41st minute and Noni Madeuke scored via a fine swivelling turn in the 64th minute, before he was substituted off.
Mario Gotze also featured as Roger Schmidt's men started their Eredivisie title charge with a win, where they rarely moved out of second gear.
Next up for PSV is Benfica in the Champions League on Wednesday 18th August
