'A competitive game of football between Nice and Olympique de Marseille (OM) at the Allianz Riviera stadium came to a screeching halt after several fans invaded the pitch, resulting in chaos all around.
Footage recorded by one of the attendees shows fans charging into the field as the security tries to get the situation under control.
The filmer, David Medina, wrote: "This video shows the field being invaded by Nice supporters, followed by endless jostling."
It has been reported that an investigation was launched to find out more about the violent scenes that derailed the French L1 football match.
