Spotlight on the gnder based violence

Two years on from Uyinene Mrwetyana's death, the issue of Gender-Based Violence remains in the spotlight. The gruesome murder of Nosicelo Mtebeni recently sent shockwaves across the country. And in Limpopo, a police officer allegedly shot and killed his wife at Vyeboom near Vuwani. And a 41-year old woman and her boyfriend were burnt beyond recognition after their house was set alight, allegedly by the woman’s boyfriend. As we draw to the close of women’s month the Limpopo MEC for Social Development, Nkakareng Rakgoale, has condemned these incidents. Courtesy #DStv403
