China, France rebuke U.S. nuclear sub pact 'AUKUS'

China condemned a new Indo-Pacific security pact between the U.S., Britain and Australia which would provide Australia with nuclear-powered submarines. France, which loses its own submarine deal with Australia, called the plans brutal and unpredictable.
