David Warner set a new IPL record on Sunday as he became the fastest man to score 5000 runs in the tournament. The Sunrisers Hyderabad captain got to the milestone during their match against Kolkata Knight Riders, in chase of 164 at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.


David Warner has broken RCB captain Virat Kohli's record as the SRH skipper has got to the 5000-run club in only his 135th innings.

David Warner also becomes only the 4th batsman after Virat Kohli .
