This woman attempted to make some DIY wooden coasters. She printed the picture on two different papers and sealed it with glue on the wooden pieces. The woman then dunked them into a water bowl and gently removed the paper off the top. However, both the results were not as desired.

00:00So I saw a video where you could take a photo
00:02and transfer it onto wood,
00:04so I thought I would try it myself.
00:06I'm using the Mod Podge that they used in the video.
00:09They didn't say what kind of paper to use,
00:10so on top I am using just regular printer paper
00:14with laser ink, and on the bottom is an actual photo paper.
00:19This is an image that I took on some of my travels
00:21back in college.
00:22I really like it, so I thought it'd make cute coasters.
00:26You let it completely dry to where you can't
00:29take it up very easily.
00:30Take as much of the paper off as you can,
00:32put it in a bowl of water, cold water,
00:34and take off the rest of the paper gently.
00:37I noticed that some of the ink was coming up
00:39with the paper, even though it was being really careful,
00:42and then on the photo, it just came completely off.
00:45It didn't stay at all.
00:47So on both accounts, it kind of failed,
00:49which was disappointing.
