Science mistakes made by ivermectin fans – Part 1
Scientist, Dr Susan Oliver, and Julie the dog discuss the science mistakes made by ivermectin fans, which lead to them misinterpreting the available data, and drawing erroneous conclusions. At the time this video was recorded there was no proof that ivermectin has any efficacy for COVID 19.
Science mistake 1: Thinking new antivirals (like Merck's molnupiravir or Pfizer's PF-07321332) are tweaked ivermectin
Science mistake 2: Not understanding the limitations of in vitro research
Science mistake 3: Assuming all clinical trials are equal
Science mistake 4: Using “Garbage in: Garbage out” meta-analyses
They also look at the work done by Jack M. Lawrence, Gideon Meyerowitz-Katz, James A. J. Heathers, Nicholas J. L. Brown & Kyle A. Sheldrick as well as Stephanie M. Lee and Ken Bensinger in uncovering potential errors and fraud in some ivermectin studies.
Please note that this video discusses the science, and should not be considered medical advice. For that you should speak to your medical practitioner.
