This is my creative idea as a response to a brief set by IBM, as part of the D&AD New Blood Quickfire competition.
By the time you finish reading this sentence, two garbage trucks full of clothes will be dumped in a landfill. Fast Fashion and influencer culture has created a world where we treat clothes as disposable. To solve the waste we must first solve our relationship with clothing.
Cirsee began as a response to the echoes of “I have nothing to wear” in the face of a full closet. Instead of having to discard and buy new when hit with a style or size crisis, shoppers can reimagine the clothes within their wardrobe with cirsee. We present possible alterations of existing clothes based on partner brand designs and pair users with the closest repairer to complete the transformation.
