Kent County Council leader brands plans for truck checkpoints away from Dover as Mayhem

The leader of Kent County Council has described plans for new customs stations in Kent as a car crash.

Paul Carter insists the proposals - which have been put its place in case of a no-deal Brexit - will cause mayhem.

The outgoing Conservative leader is now calling for an urgent government review into the plans.
