Shock for campaigners as Hoo golf course prepares to close

Protesters campaigning to save Deangate Ridge, a golf course in Hoo, from closure have been dealt a huge blow as legal teams have ruled against fighting the decision.
The course has been costing the Medway Council thousands of pounds each month and will now shut down tomorrow.
