According to the scoreboard at BN's operations centre in Ayer Keroh, the coalition has managed to retain the Tanjung Bidara seat.
The two main contestants for the seat are Malacca BN chief Ab Rauf Yusoh and PN's chief minister candidate Mas Ermieyati Samsudin.
Based on the unofficial results, Rauf appears to have edged Mas Ermieyati with a small majority. Harapan's Zainal Hassan looks set to lose his deposit.
