BJP is a potent force in Punjab, says Hardeep Puri
In an exclusive interview with India Today’s Rahul Kanwal, Union Minister for Housing Urban Affairs Hardeep Singh Puri said the BJP without the Shiromani Akali Dal is a “more potent and viable force” in Punjab ahead of the Assembly election.
"In the 117-seat Punjab Assembly, the BJP has never contested more than 20-23 seats. Even in urban areas, sometimes the BJP didn’t do well because its alliance with SAD led to apprehensions and distrust for many reasons,” he said.
