Islamic cleric Tauqeer Raza joins Congress; Bhim Army chief to go solo in UP elections

Islamic cleric Tauqeer Raza Khan, who was earlier booked for derogatory comments against Prime Minister Narendra Modi joined Congress ahead of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly polls. He said only Congress can provide development to Muslims. The BJP hit out at Congress after a picture of the cleric with party general secretary Priyanka Gandhi emerged. Meanwhile, Azad Samaj Party chief Chandra Shekhar Aazad will go solo in the polls.
