AT A height of 2-feet tall, Jyoti Amge, from Nagpur, India, is the smallest woman in the world. Her height, which matches that of a four-month-old baby, is due to a genetic condition called primordial dwarfism. Jyoti’s dwarfism causes her to have pain in her joints and difficulty walking, but she hasn’t let this stop her. Since first winning the Guinness World Records title 10 years ago, Jyoti has dreamed of using her difference to become an international film star. In 2014, Jyoti was cast in American Horror Story: Freak Show, where she saw her dream come true. She told Truly: “I want to get the message out there to anyone who faces challenges like me, that you can do anything. Just ignore what people say and focus on your own life."
