Hijab row: SC refuses urgent hearing on plea challenging Karnataka HC’s interim order

The Supreme Court on Friday declined to give an urgent listing for hearing a Special Leave Petition against Karnataka High Court’s interim order regarding the hijab petitions. Reading the verdict, Chief Justice of India NV Ramana said that the court will take up the matter at an “appropriate time.”
